I've received half a dozen or so of these in the past half a day or so. They seem to be exactly the same scam as "David Samuels, Business Development", except that it's now "Alison Wood, IDC Business Group". Note in particular the similar email address used between the two scams. They are looking for mules to launder money for them, of course.

Now she is using my email address. It has her name in the from box but MY email address. I did an IP search and she is from the Amsterdam area. What can I do???
It's more likelyt that the mail was sent through some random compromised computer in the Amsterdam area, and the computer's owner is completely unaware that it's sending spam. Also, there's basically nothing you can do about the fact that some random scammer is using your address as the "from" address. They tend to either fabricate "from" addresses completely, or use random addresses from their list of "to" addresses as "from" addresses. This is why I always redact "from" addresses unless there's good evidence that the address is actually used by the scammer.

I am glad i done a search on the name before i procedded. I so happy i found this site to let me know it was a scam.
